Giarnni Regini-Moran is an Olympic Gymnast and Commonwealth and European champion. Giarnni has overcome multiple injuries including six surgeries throughout his career – his resilience to bounce back and never give up is nothing short of remarkable and we are honoured to have him as our Beet It Sport ambassador. Giarnni will be competing at the World Championships in Liverpool with the aim for the team to get a world medal and qualify two years early for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
I got into gymnastics from my parents. I started at a parent and toddler session, I was 2 years old. From there they took me more and more and I just loved it.
I’ve had multiple successes in gymnastics like becoming Commonwealth and European champion but the greatest achievement of them all is never giving up after all my injuries… I’ve had 6 surgery’s and I’m still going and for me that’s my greatest achievement.
So, coming up we have the World Champs in Liverpool which as a team were going to give our all to get a world team medal and qualify for the Olympics 2 years early.
I’m a very sporty person so I love doing sports. Boxing, Golf, Football, Squash you name it.
What motivates me to train and do my best is all the sacrifices me parents and family have made to keep me in sport. They have given everything they have so I can be where I am so I do it for them and I do it for me.
Growing up in gymnastics my role model was a gymnast called Daniel Keatings, he was world silver medalist and multiple European and commonwealth medals.
My advice for any sport not just gymnastics is that if you enjoy it then go for it. Gymnastics is a hard sport and there will be days you feel like giving up and there will be days where its becomes scary.
A perfect weekend is spending time with my family and my girlfriend going for some nice food watching a movie and relaxing.
Years ago our Nutritionist told us the benefits and how we should use it in the build-up to competitions etc.
Beet it is something I absolutely swear by! I believe in this product and will use the beet it shots in every build up and for every comp.
